Daniel Carniel

Daniel is the Lead Pathways Rehabilitation and Jersey Flegg Physiotherapist with the Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs, bringing extensive experience in elite junior and professional sport. He previously served as Head Physiotherapist for the Harold Matthews Squad at the South Sydney Rabbitohs, where he played a key role in developing and rehabilitating emerging rugby league talent.


After completing a Bachelor of Sport Science and a Master of Physiotherapy, Daniel gained valuable high-performance experience working with the NSW/ACT AFL Umpires. Through these roles, he developed a strong clinical interest in musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapy, with particular expertise in lower limb tendinopathies, as well as knee and ankle injuries.


Daniel is passionate about integrating strength and conditioning principles with traditional physiotherapy approaches. He believes that combining performance-based training with hands-on therapy delivers evidence-based interventions and optimal outcomes for athletes and everyday clients alike.


Committed to ongoing professional development, Daniel has completed APA Level 1 and 2 Sports Physiotherapy, Complex Hip and Groin (Andrew Wallis), Mulligan Concept Upper Limb, and APA Level 1 Dry Needling, ensuring his treatment approach remains current, progressive, and performance-focused.
